Regional Education Project – CCF Development Lead South West – 1 year TLR 3
Education goes way beyond academic achievement to encompass activities and interactions that build life skills, develop natural talents and enhance employability skills. We see a strong correlation between student enjoyment and attendance to opportunity and outcomes to the extent that where we enhance enjoyment, we improve attendance and as a result we increase awareness of and access to opportunity and positive outcomes.
The opportunity for students to engage in activities beyond the classroom has a positive impact on students well-being and is paramount to the Oasis Advantage Strategy.
This project is focused across 5 secondary academies in Bristol (John Williams, Brislington, Brightstowe, Daventry Road and Temple Quarter and seeks to build on the current Brislington Combined Cadet Force contingent as a model to shape a regional contingent model.
